MARK: 40%

1. Ideation
Idea #1 - Encouraging adopting over shopping
Idea #2 - Gender Dysphoria
Idea #3 - Stereotype against Gen-Z

Majority votes : Idea #3

The objective of our choice of title focuses on clearing up mistaken beliefs that affect Generation Z, examining how these generalizations about laziness and dependence on technology along with lack of work ethic affect Generation Z both personally and professionally. The purpose of our animation video covers the need to combat generalizations because such actions enhance workplace relations and better reflect Gen Z's capabilities.

Task Distribution :
1. Introduction - Edita
2. Why Choose the Topic - May, Yan Ling
3. Objective of the video - Zi Qi, Emily
4. Target Audience - Graciella
5. Key Information & Data - Cindy, Jxin, Aisya
6. Sources & References - Everyone

According to the distribution among our group members, I work together with May to compile and list down relevant points before including in the presentation slides while other group members carry out their parts according to the task distribution.

Before including the points into the slides, the points are revised and summarised into a general point that branches out to the points listed in the document.

3. Presentation Slides

The presentation establishes its fundamental purpose as the identification of Gen Z misconceptions through our research to present both favorable and unfavorable aspects of Gen Z individuals while creating an understanding between generations for mutual appreciation. The two main purposes to educate audiences about stereotyping consequences while driving Gen Z confidence growth and improving intergenerational interactions in various professional and social environments.

FEEDBACK
Week 2 - 10/02/2025
- Target audiences need to be more niche, choose 1 or 2
- They like the target audience because it puts down a POV for them; tweak it so the video is like a “Survival Guide for Gen Z in Workplaces”
- Target audience should probably be for Gen Z

Week 6 - 11/03/2025
- storyboard is good, proceed with animation.

REFLECTION

Reflecting on this final project, it gave me an opportunity to work as a team to produce the outcome of this project where we can learn from each other and grow together as a team and individually. Throughout this project, I manage to apply and refine skills from the past semester as apart of the editing team. Apart from that, working in a group setting also allowed me to refine my communication skills and teamwork which will greatly benefit me in the future. All in all, this project was an extremely great opportunity that has helped me learned and become a better person professionally and individually.
