REFLECTION
Experience
Before beginning this module, I was worried I will not be able to catch up as I was from a totally different major in my diploma. As weeks gradually passed, I have managed to catch up and learned a lot throughout this 14 weeks with Mr Vinod guidance. As Mr Vinod mentioned as we start understanding typography, we begin to see them differently wherever we go and I strongly believe so as I do view typography differently wherever I am in order to gain more knowledge and understanding in this subject. Throughout this 14 weeks, it was very exciting to be able to learn something I am interested and passionate about. Aside from tasks we are required to do, I like that I am able to push myself to read every week as a requirement for our further reading throughout this module. At some point it was frustrating while carrying out my tasks as I was completely new to this field but I was able to challenge and overcome these difficulties to improve myself as a designer and individually.

Observation
Based on my observation throughout this 14 weeks, conducting researches or seeking references from existing artworks before starting my own project is important for me to understand and gain inspiration from it. I also observed that I should be challenging myself to always keep trying designing until I am satisfied with the results while adhering to the rules and guidelines of each tasks. It was also inspiring to see works from my classmates, learning from the feedbacks given to improve myself. After taking this module, I do view typography in a different perspective

Findings
My findings throughout this 14 weeks is mainly gaining the skills and knowledge in typography through each tasks and further readings I have conducted and completed. From being a stranger to Adobe Illustrator to being able to use basic tools at ease is a small accomplishment to me even though I still have a lot to learn. Learning the rules and guidelines in typography has changed my point of view for typography than just seeing what is "pleasing" to the eyes to good typography that adheres to its rules and designed with a purpose/reason. Typography is definitely a topic/subject I would definitely love to dive deeper than just what I am learning in my course.
