With reference to my sketch of the composition, the outline of the drawing is traced to the artboard. The overall composition applies a combination gradient colors to replicate the lights and shadow to give depth to the composition. 
According to the grids and guidelines in Figure 3.12, the character is positioned directly at the centre of the composition.

Grain texture applied to the ground to give the composition texture.

3. Bench

According to the color palette in Figure 3.4, the colors of the composition is applied.

The shadow of each element is applied to the composition and Figure 3.16 shows the final outcome of the artwork.

To achieve a better outcome of the composition, each layer of elements is recolored from front=dark -> back=light to create depth in the composition.
