FEEDBACK
Week 7 - 20/03/2025
- no depth, position of characters, ex frame 1 of storyboard
- vanishing point and perspective needs solid throughout all the compositions to create depth in your frames, eg. something dropping and starts to get blurry = faints / transitioning into xxxx
- include details like a certain sound/light/action/anything that recollects/trigger the trauma
mixing up shots to build up the story, even small things like smoking, light flickerings, stove etc
depth of field, motion blur, etc
- include the title in the animation (start/end)
- composition, setups to form the final ending climax
- explore animation films in the industry such as applying techniques by blending 2D, 3D, and stop motion animation from korean animation film in the early 2000s and its flow and the making of the animation
- story is there but connection of emotion is not there; storyline is there but still flat - show emotion, subtle but not so direct portray of action / hinting + metaphors

REFLECTION

Reflecting my progression while carrying my tasks throughout this module, it was a learning opportunity for me to refine both my skills in this field of expertise as well as soft skills that will benefit me in the future. There were many challenges in terms of communication with some members due to limitation of language barrier which was challenging to clearly convey the message and expectation of the project. Hence, it has allowed me to not only grow as a person individually but also as a person that works as a team to achieve a common goal. Apart from that, the design process throughout this project has allowed me to refine and apply the skills gained in previous semesters to produce a design that is up to the requirements of this project and the lecturers. Throughout this module, the guidance of Mr Kamal and Mr Kannan have greatly benefited me in gaining more knowledge in this field of expertise and prepare me for the future in this line of work.
